The Build Better More (BBM) program, preceded by the ‘Build, Build, Build’ program, is the expansive version of infrastructure projects in the Philippines. This initiative, encompassing 194 high-impact priority projects, aims to revamp the country’s infrastructure landscape significantly and make significant improvements to logistics and transportation of the country especially in metro cities where heavy traffic jams are really prevalent.

Central to the Build Better More Program’s mission is the goal of elevating the Philippines’ competitiveness on a global scale. By investing approximately 9 trillion pesos in diverse projects, the initiative not only seeks to improve the physical infrastructure but also to create a more integrated and efficient logistics and transportation network.

Projects such as Metro Manila Subway Project; the highlight of the program, the Panay Railway Project, Mindanao Railway Project III, North Long Haul Railway, and the San Mateo Railway exemplify the government’s commitment to enhancing regional connectivity and ensuring seamless movement of goods and people.

Decongest EDSA and Major Roads in Metro Manila

One of the benefits from Build Better More Program is the wide construction of bridges called Metro Manila Logistics Improvement Program specifically building 11 bridges with 8,825 lineal meters to address traffic congestion along EDSA and other major road in Metro Manila.

One of the largest projects and is a major step forward for public transport in the Philippines. This is the country’s first large-scale subway transport system stretching 33.1 kilometers from Valenzuela to NAIA thorugh 17 stations. This project aims to transform how people move around the city, in line with the goals of the Marcos administration’s Build Better More program.
